Stone Age Marble was founded in 1997 in Victoria, BC, when Giovanni LaFauci established the shop at 345 John Street. From the beginning, the company was built on a simple foundation: honesty, integrity, and a genuine passion for working with natural and man-made stone.

What began as a boutique stone shop has evolved significantly, but those principles remain at the heart of everything we do.

In 2018, Braden Gateley purchased Stone Age Marble, bringing 12 years of industry experience and a vision for the company's next chapter. Since then, we've continued to expand our capabilities, invest in advanced fabrication technology, and build relationships that extend far beyond a single project.

We believe great fabrication shouldn't be limited by what is easy to manufacture.

Our team specializes in complex work in natural stone and porcelain, taking on challenging designs and details that others may avoid. From intricate residential projects to demanding commercial applications, we approach each project with a problem-solving mindset: if you can design it, we can build it.

To deliver on that promise, we continuously reinvest in the latest stone-cutting and fabrication technology. Technology allows us to improve precision, efficiency, and consistency while giving our team the tools to push what's possible.
